Description

Lead Level 2 support for Java Spring and Ruby on Rails web services, ensuring rapid issue resolution and high availability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform root cause analysis for recurring incidents and drive long-term fixes with engineering teams.
• Support REST APIs, cloud-native applications, and databases like AWS Aurora and PostgreSQL.
• Configure and maintain monitoring, alerting, and eventing using Splunk, Dynatrace, and CloudWatch.
• Manage escalations, coordinate team efforts, and ensure service uptime through proactive incident management.
• Mentor junior engineers and document troubleshooting guides and support procedures.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in application support or SRE roles.
• Strong expertise in Java Spring and Ruby on Rails web services.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Aurora and PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency in REST API troubleshooting and support.
• Experience configuring Splunk, Dynatrace, and CloudWatch for monitoring and alerting.
• Ability to participate in 24x7 on-call rotations.
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
