Description

You will manage production stability and application performance within a financial services environment.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Resolve critical application alerts, production defects, and implement changes to prevent incident recurrence.
• Execute pre-production and production code deployment plans alongside vendor application upgrades.
• Implement Disaster Recovery scripts during outages and identify automation opportunities to improve workflows.
• Collaborate with development teams to provide feedback on application design and update runbooks.
• Validate audit responses and align risk and control processes with daily operational tasks.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of related experience in application support or production engineering.
• Proficiency with Java/J2EE and Oracle/SQL.
• Experience managing IBM MQ and messaging middleware.
• Hands-on experience with Splunk and AutoSys.
• Strong command of Linux/Unix environments.
• Working knowledge of AWS cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow (SNOW) and ITIL processes.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Containers (Kubernetes/Docker) and IIB.
• Domain knowledge in Finance and Securities and a solid understanding of networking.
