Description

You will design enterprise-grade application architectures for the Central Waitlist Management initiative, supporting provincial, regional, and hospital-level stakeholders in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Define application structures, reusable components, and interface determinations for large distributed environments.
• Develop and manage cross-platform application architectures aligned with Agency principles and SDLC guidelines.
• Create logical Information Systems architectures and produce required SDLC architecture artifacts.
• Conduct solution architecture compliance reviews and generate cloud feasibility assessments with reference architectures.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in application architecture and design.
• Strong knowledge of Cloud computing concepts, specifically Microsoft Azure and AWS.
• Experience designing applications using serverless computing, PaaS, and SaaS services.
• Strong understanding of .NET Framework development patterns and best practices.
• Broad understanding of Microsoft technology stacks across OS, middleware, and database tiers.
• Knowledge of application security architectures and privacy controls including OIDC, SAML, and OAuth.
• Strong understanding of messaging concepts including XML, JSON, HL7 FHIR, and RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of the ArchiMate modeling framework.

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft Certified Azure Cloud Engineer or Architect certification.
• Knowledge of object-oriented analysis and design techniques.
