Description

You will manage Oracle database migrations to AWS and support application development in the cloud.

Responsibilities

• Manage application schema, design, and extensions across development, test, and production environments on Linux.
• Provision and manage Oracle database instances on AWS and Linux.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Oracle GoldenGate for batch and online process synchronization.
• Set up replication and high availability for Oracle databases using GoldenGate and Data Guard.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot database problems, and perform backups and restores.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration.
• Deep expertise in Oracle Database.
• Hands-on experience with the AWS cloud platform.
• Proficiency in the Linux platform.
• Strong SQL proficiency.
• Knowledge of Data Modeling and Database Design.
• Experience with Oracle Data Guard and Oracle GoldenGate.
• Familiarity with Oracle Application Server.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with application modernization and high-volume application systems.
