Description

You will manage Oracle database migrations from on-premises to AWS cloud and provide development support for high-volume application systems.

Responsibilities

• Provision and manage Oracle database instances on AWS and Linux environments.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Oracle GoldenGate for batch and online process synchronization.
• Design and manage application schemas, access patterns, locking strategies, and extensions across development, test, and production environments.
• Implement replication and high availability using Oracle DataGuard and GoldenGate.
• Perform database performance tuning, backups, restores, and software patching.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience modifying database structures and managing existing database objects.
• 7+ years of experience configuring, monitoring, and cache management for Oracle database servers.
• 5+ years of experience authoring SQL and PL/SQL code on Unix/Linux.
• 5+ years of experience with user enrollment, system security, and controlling database access.
• 5+ years of experience monitoring performance metrics, response times, and request rates.
• 5+ years of experience participating in on-call rotations and weekend work.
• 3+ years of experience installing, configuring, and patching database software.
• 3+ years of experience allocating system storage and planning future storage requirements.
• 2+ years of experience implementing and supporting Oracle on AWS (EC2, RDS, and S3).
• 2+ years of experience with Oracle DataGuard replication and advanced security.
• 2+ years of experience designing backup/restore and disaster recovery solutions.
• 2+ years of experience with shell scripting languages.
• 2+ years of experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Oracle GoldenGate.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Oracle Data Masking and Subsetting.
• Demonstrable skills with Cúram Software and its database schema.
