Description

You will manage Oracle database migrations from on-premises to AWS and support application development for NC FAST in the cloud.

Responsibilities

• Manage application schema, design, and extensions across development, test, and production environments on Linux.
• Provision and manage Oracle database instances on AWS using EC2, RDS, and S3.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Oracle GoldenGate for batch and online process synchronization.
• Implement replication and high availability using Oracle DataGuard and GoldenGate.
• Monitor performance metrics, tune SQL, and troubleshoot database issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Oracle database administration in an enterprise environment.
• Hands-on experience implementing and supporting Oracle on AWS (EC2, RDS, and S3).
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL development.
• Expertise in Oracle GoldenGate installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Strong command of Unix/Linux platforms and shell scripting.
• Experience with Oracle DataGuard replication and advanced security protocols.
• Proven ability in schema design, access patterns, and locking strategies.
• Experience managing system storage, user access, and database security.
• Ability to participate in on-call rotations and weekend work.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Oracle Data Masking and Subsetting.
• Demonstrable skills with CuraM Software and database schema.
