Description

You will migrate Oracle databases from on-premises to AWS and provide development support for NC FAST applications in the cloud.

Responsibilities

• Manage application schema, design, and extensions across development, test, and production environments on Linux.
• Provision and manage Oracle database instances on AWS (EC2, RDS, S3) and Linux.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Oracle GoldenGate for batch and online process synchronization.
• Implement replication and high availability using Oracle DataGuard and GoldenGate.
• Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform backups and restores.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise Oracle Database administration.
• Hands-on experience implementing and supporting Oracle on AWS (EC2, RDS, S3).
• Expertise in SQL and PL/SQL development on Unix/Linux platforms.
• Proven ability in schema design, access patterns, locking strategies, and SQL tuning.
• Experience configuring, monitoring, and managing cache for Oracle database servers.
• Proficiency in one or more shell scripting languages.
• Experience with Oracle DataGuard, GoldenGate, and Oracle Data Masking/Subsetting.
• Knowledge of system security, user access control, and host lockdown.
• Demonstrable skills with Cúram Software and its database schema.
