Description

Manage Oracle database environments during migration from on-premises to AWS cloud, ensuring high availability and performance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Provision and manage Oracle database instances on AWS and Linux platforms.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Oracle GoldenGate for batch and online process synchronization.
• Set up replication and high availability using GoldenGate and Data Guard.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform backups and restores.
• Collaborate with developers to refine data requirements, table design, and SQL writing.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration.
• Oracle database management on Linux platforms.
• AWS cloud infrastructure experience.
• Oracle GoldenGate for high-volume data synchronization.
• Oracle Data Guard for high availability.
• Expertise in table and database design.
• Proficiency in identifying and refining data requirements.
• Experience with application modernization and database solutions.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing high-volume application systems.
