Description

You will design, build, and deploy cloud-native applications within highly regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Build backend services using Python and frontend interfaces with Angular or React in TypeScript.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CDK or Terraform to deploy container-based applications.
• Model business processes using AWS Step Functions and manage workflows with Airflow.
• Implement data pipelines using AWS Glue, PySpark, and Python Shell to manage Data Lakes.
• Lead technical initiatives in database management, cloud security, or cloud-centric integration.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in AWS cloud application development.
• Expertise in Python application design, code structure, packaging, and deployment.
• Proficiency in building REST APIs and container-based applications.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, including layer management and deployment types.
• Experience with AWS Glue, Athena, Redshift, and Postgres for data migration and lake management.
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures using SNS, SQS, and EventBridge.
• Competency in AWS CloudWatch and CloudTrail for logging and auditing.
• Experience with Docker and containerization.
• Ability to implement granular access security using Okta or Cognito.

Preferred Skills

• GovCloud development experience.
