Description

Lead application development teams to deliver scalable data computation and processing platforms using Big Data technologies.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage team performance, hiring, and resource allocation for application development.
• Provide technical oversight and review proposed solutions to shape development strategies.
• Monitor delivery of end results and participate in budget management.
• Negotiate with external parties and define standards to ensure procedural compliance.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in the Financial Services industry, including Applications Development Manager roles.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Apache Spark, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
• Experience with Oracle DB, Big Data technologies, Python, Grid Computing, Data Warehousing, and Cloud Computing.
• Proven project management skills and demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with caching solutions like Pinot and Redis.
• Market risk domain knowledge.
