Description

You will integrate GenAI software with scientific data and models for global research teams.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Debug, profile, and recommend optimizations for GenAI software.
• Develop, optimize, and run AI/ML models or LLMs.
• Gather and provide customer feedback to engineering teams to improve software for scientific research.
• Participate in hands-on hackathons and workshops to drive GenAI software adoption in science.

Required Skills

• 5+ years hands-on experience developing, optimizing, and running AI/ML models or LLMs.
• Deep understanding of Gen AI model architectures (GPT-x, Llama, MoE, etc).
• Proficiency in PyTorch, C++, and Python.
• Experience working with LLMs and Gen AI.
• Excellent verbal, written communication, and technical presentation skills in Japanese.
• Business level English communication.
• Ability to work independently within a globally distributed team.

Preferred Skills

• Expertise in deploying large-scale training and inferencing pipelines.
• Hands-on experience customizing AI models for multi-modal scientific data.
