You will lead the end-to-end model development lifecycle for NLP and Information Retrieval systems, translating complex business problems into scoped projects with accountable deliverables.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end model development for NLP and IR systems, ensuring reproducible research and managed software delivery.
• Translate complex business challenges into projects with clear scope and technical requirements.
• Partner with cross-functional global teams and mentor teammates on technical execution.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Lead enterprise AI adoption by experimenting with new approaches and technologies.

Required Skills

• PhD in a relevant discipline or Master's degree with comparable experience.
• At least 5 years of practical experience building NLP, IR, or ML systems from ideation to production.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala.
• Solid software engineering skills for prototyping and production deployment.
• Expertise in NLP and Information Retrieval (IR) methodologies.
• Experience as a technical leader coordinating and guiding the work of others.

Preferred Skills

• 8+ years of practical experience building IR, ML, or NLP systems in academia or industry.
• Demonstrated ability to translate research into working prototypes.
• Experience delivering minimum viable products in large enterprise environments.
