Senior Architect

Lead architectural design and implementation for complex integration projects and event-driven systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement event-driven architectures using messaging technologies and streaming platforms.
• Evaluate and select microservices frameworks and API options based on project needs.
• Own API governance, including development, consumer processes, and API policy definition.
• Capture non-functional requirements to ensure performance and security standards.
• Guide technical proposals by providing accurate solution estimates and resource plans.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience architecting complex integration projects.
• Expertise in Microservices architecture and API development.
• Deep knowledge of Scala/Akka frameworks.
• Experience with Pulsar and Kafka messaging technologies.
• Proficiency with API Gateway implementation and governance.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS, cloud computing, and PaaS platforms.
• Experience with containerization and automation tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to design various API types and articulate their value propositions.
