Description

Lead end-to-end architectural design and delivery for new applications and IT components in Brussels.

Responsibilities

• Manage project architecture from initial business case requirements through to acceptance testing and final delivery.
• Conduct detailed needs analysis and collaborate with clients to develop suitable architectural solutions.
• Design processing management systems for large data volumes, including signal, message-driven, and batch processing.
• Ensure all designs align with established architectural principles and the broader organizational structure.
• Provide technical expertise to resolve complex problems for Service Managers, Network, and System Administrators.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in architectural roles.
• Strong expertise in JAVA application architecture and Spring Boot.
• Deep understanding of design patterns and communication techniques between applications.
• Proven knowledge of SOA and microservices architectures.
• Experience with JEE application servers, specifically WebLogic.
• Proficiency in data architecture and creating UML architecture diagrams.
• Ability to analyze DB2 explain plans and provide optimization solutions.
• Advanced knowledge of XML and XSD.
• Fluency in English; passive knowledge of French or Dutch.
