Description

You will design and build scalable cloud-native data analytics platforms while providing technical leadership to engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable cloud-native data analytics platforms and solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers on standards and best practices.
• Write hands-on code for at least 30% of your time.
• Assess, benchmark, and select data analytics technologies.
• Represent technical strategy and architecture to prospective customers during sales visits.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience architecting and delivering scalable data analytics products.
• Extensive experience with AWS services including EC2, EKS, ECS, EMR, S3, SageMaker, Redshift, Athena, and Airflow.
• Ability to design large-scale distributed Big Data processing systems using Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and open data formats like Apache Hudi, Iceberg, or Parquet.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with microservices architecture and container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on knowledge of cybersecurity concepts in operating systems, software, network protocols, and cloud infrastructure.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, and meeting operational SLAs.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in InsurTech, FinTech, or P&C domain knowledge.
• Experience with machine learning techniques, MLOps, and operationalizing models.
• Understanding of GenAI, LLM models, frameworks, and tools.
