Description

You will lead the design and execution of large-scale, cloud-based data platforms and systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and review core data systems supporting diverse product lines.
• Build scalable, fault-tolerant pipelines for real-time and batch data processing.
• Partner with engineering leads to align data architecture with strategic business goals.
• Ensure reliability, security, cost-efficiency, and data governance across all platforms.
• Mentor engineers and influence technical direction across engineering, data science, and product teams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience designing and building large-scale, highly available cloud data platforms.
• Deep expertise in data architecture and data modeling.
• Hands-on experience with cloud ecosystems including AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with real-time and batch data processing using tools like Apache Kafka, Spark, or Flink.
• Proven ability to design low-latency data storage and integrate with modern data warehouses and data lakes.
• Demonstrated ability to balance long-term architectural vision with short-term business priorities.
• Strong communication skills to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to lead teams through complex engineering and data architecture challenges.
