Lead the design and implementation of development operations, focusing on GitHub strategy and scalable DevOps practices.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Define GitHub strategy, including repository structure, branching models, and governance.
• Establish scalable CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and other DevOps tools.
• Integrate testing, security, and compliance into every stage of the software lifecycle.
• Implement infrastructure as code and container orchestration to advance DevOps and Cloud practices.
• Partner with engineering and operations to drive developer efficiency and reliability.

Required Skills

• 8+ years in software engineering, DevOps, or systems architecture, including leadership.
• Expertise in GitHub Enterprise: branching strategies, repository management, GitHub Actions, Packages, and Advanced Security.
• Strong background in DevOps principles: CI/CD, automated testing, infrastructure as code, and observability.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience driving developer efficiency and reliability across engineering and operations.
