Description

Define and document backend architecture for Java-based microservices, ensuring scalable design and integration patterns.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define service boundaries, data flow, and integration patterns for Java backend systems.
• Design and review APIs and backend components to ensure consistency, performance, and reliability.
• Establish scalable deployment patterns for microservices, including communication and operational considerations.
• Lead technical design reviews and mentor engineers on architectural best practices.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure designs are implementable, testable, and aligned with production requirements.

Required Skills

• 5-10 years of relevant experience in backend architecture and Java development.
• Strong expertise in Java backend development and architecture.
• Deep knowledge of Microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Proven experience designing REST APIs and backend integrations.
• Understanding of scalable, high-performance application design principles.
• Familiarity with software design patterns and architectural best practices.
• Experience conducting code reviews and providing technical leadership.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
