Description

Lead the design and implementation of enterprise data models and modern data architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data models for enterprise data warehouses.
• Lead projects involving data warehousing, data modeling, and data analysis.
• Architect cloud-based data solutions using services like Azure Databricks and PySpark.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists and business analysts.
• Coach junior and senior associates while synthesizing complex information for senior management.

Required Skills

• 10 years of experience in BI and analytics with 5 years specifically as a data architect.
• Proficiency in SQL, NoSQL, HANA, Oracle, Hadoop, or Teradata.
• Experience with programming languages including Java, Python, C, or C++.
• Hands-on experience with cloud services including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of real-time data distribution using Kafka or Dataflow.
• Experience with modern data warehouse tools such as Snowflake or Databricks.
• Expertise in ETL, Power BI, and Tableau.
• Strong understanding of entity-relationship modeling, metadata systems, and data quality techniques.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a foreign equivalent.
