Description

Lead large-scale application migrations from PCF/TAS to OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) within enterprise environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute migration of applications from PCF/TAS to OCP, ensuring high availability and optimal configuration.
• Manage configuration, deployment, and scaling of OCP and Kubernetes environments.
• Solve complex technical challenges related to platform differences, containerization, and cloud infrastructure.
• Mentor engineering teams on deployment strategies and cloud-native best practices.
• Own and optimize CI/CD pipeline processes to ensure reliable, automated deployments.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of IT experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on expertise in OCP configuration management and Kubernetes deployments.
• Extensive experience with PCF/TAS and OCP in complex enterprise environments supporting Java and .NET.
• Proven track record leading migration projects from PCF/TAS to OCP.
• Proficiency with migration tools including Konveyor, Move2Kube, and OpenRewrite.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Spinnaker, Jenkins, Harness, GitHub Actions, and Kaniko.
• Experience managing Helm charts and Calico/Kubernetes Network Policies.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-native development, containerization, and DevOps practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working within the Financial Services Industry or other highly regulated sectors.
