Description

You will architect, design, and develop full-stack solutions for the STARS application, covering front-end, back-end, and batch components.

Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end solutions for business tax administration systems.
• Develop and support web services and asynchronous messaging components.
• Execute migrations of eCommerce applications to upgraded platforms (WAS 9, RAD 9, Java 1.8).
• Reduce technical debt by upgrading infrastructure and migrating backend from Mainframe DB2.
• Perform production support and optimize application code for performance.

Required Skills

• 10+ years with Java (JEE 5+), including Java EE Batch, Design Patterns, and JPA 2.0.
• 10+ years with Spring Framework (MVC model) and Batch architecture.
• 10+ years with JSF 2.0, EJB 3.0, and Web Services (JAX-WS, XML, JAXB).
• 10+ years with Asynchronous Messaging, JMS, and MQ.
• 10+ years using IDEs like RAD 7.5+ or Eclipse.
• 10+ years expertise in XPath, UML, Object Modeling, and Batch Schedulers.
• 10+ years in performance tuning for Web Services, SQL, and application code.
• Extensive experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with PSRM, PeopleSoft, DataStage, or WebSphere ESB.
• Prior participation in the Ohio STARS project.
