Description

Develop and maintain legacy applications on the IBM iSeries platform using COBOL and RPG.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write, test, and debug COBOL and RPGLE code for batch and interactive applications.
• Manage database interactions using DB2 and SQL.
• Provide production support for AS/400 systems.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including Scrum or Kanban.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve technical issues.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience with AS/400 (IBM iSeries).
• Proficiency in COBOL400 and RPG/RPGLE.
• Strong knowledge of DB2 and SQL.
• Experience with the IBM i Operating System.
• Proven track record in production support.
• Hands-on experience with batch and interactive application development.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Previous experience in a 3-year tenure stability context.
