Description

You will develop and support core banking systems using IBM iSeries technologies. You own the full lifecycle from code development to debugging and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain application code using RPGLE, Cobol/400, and SQLRPG.
• Develop and execute complex DB2 queries and SQL scripts.
• Debug existing codebases to resolve technical issues and ensure system stability.
• Produce high-quality software documentation with technical accuracy.
• Support core banking applications and respond to operational requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in IBM iSeries (AS400) development.
• Proficiency in RPGLE and SQLRPG.
• Strong experience with DB2 and SQL query languages.
• Background in Cobol/400 programming.
• Experience writing complex queries and performing debugging.
• Core banking domain knowledge.
• Ability to deliver detailed software documentation.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience in technical support roles.
