Description

You will manage physical design implementation for mixed-signal circuits from floorplanning through validation.

Responsibilities

• Define physical design specifications and perform floorplanning, power planning, and placement for digital and analog blocks.
• Execute physical design validation including static timing, noise analysis, and power grid characterization.
• Troubleshoot physical design issues and implement necessary design changes.
• Collaborate with DRC/LVS teams to ensure compliance with manufacturing requirements.
• Develop design automation and perform quality analysis on design collateral.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in VLSI Design.
• Proficiency with Cadence Virtuoso, HSPICE, and ADE.
• Experience building custom digital blocks using Cadence Virtuoso.
• Hands-on experience with Primetime, StarRC, and Redhawk.
• Proficiency in scripting languages including Python, TCL, and Perl for automation.
• Strong understanding of physical design methodologies and tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of experience, or a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field with 2+ years of experience.
