Description

You will build and maintain interoperable healthcare systems and medical imaging solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement DICOM-based solutions to support imaging interoperability across healthcare platforms.
• Integrate systems with PACS, RIS, and EHR using DICOM, HL7, and FHIR protocols.
• Develop RESTful APIs and microservices using Java Spring Boot and Python.
• Deploy and manage cloud-based solutions using AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and API Gateway.
• Implement comprehensive testing strategies covering unit, integration, and performance testing.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of experience specifically in DICOM medical imaging or healthcare IT.
• Deep knowledge of DICOM standards, tags, and PACS systems.
• Hands-on experience with DICOM operations: C-FIND, C-STORE, C-MOVE, and C-ECHO.
• Proficiency in Java Spring Boot and Python for back-end development.
• Strong experience designing, implementing, and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, API Gateway).
• Experience with relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency with Git version control.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with healthcare integration tools like Rhapsody.
• Familiarity with React or Angular front-end frameworks.
