Description

You will own the design, implementation, and validation of custom automation solutions for manufacturing processes.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Identify automation opportunities by collaborating with design, manufacturing, and process engineers to conceptualise technical solutions.
• Manage the full lifecycle of automated systems, including design, procurement, installation, and validation.
• Specify, program, and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, industrial communications, and motion control systems.
• Integrate servo and stepper motor control, pneumatic actuators, machine vision, and robotic systems.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of hands-on experience as an Automation & Controls Engineer or Robotics Engineer.
• Proficiency in PLC and HMI programming, troubleshooting, and configuration.
• Experience designing electromechanical and automation systems.
• Ability to create CAD packages and electrical schematics.
• Strict adherence to IEC and NFPA documentation standards.
• Knowledge of industrial communications protocols.
• Familiarity with machine vision and robotic systems integration.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Experience with conveyor system integration.
