Description

Lead automation testing and development for Angular-based applications in a hybrid Virginia role.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automation testing solutions using Cypress or Protractor.
• Develop and maintain front-end components using Angular 2+.
• Deploy automation solutions into cloud environments.
• Interface with business lines and cross-functional IT teams to influence technical direction.
• Lead modernized development teams through complex solution implementations.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
• 4+ years of experience leading modernized development teams.
• Expertise in UI automation testing with Cypress or Protractor.
• Strong development experience with Angular 2+.
• Proficiency in Java and Node.js.
• Experience with Jenkins, Cucumber, and the Atlassian Suite (Jira, Bitbucket).
• Hands-on experience with Git and PostgreSQL or MongoDB Cloud.
• Knowledge of AWS, EKS, Docker, and OpenShift.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
