Description

You will provide automation and mechanical technical support for commissioning and qualification phases within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute commissioning and qualification testing on equipment and support troubleshooting during these phases.
• Manage source code review and code management for manufacturing equipment.
• Integrate production lines with site automation systems and ancillary equipment such as MES.
• Update technical design documentation through project delivery change management processes.
• Support site engineering initiatives by drafting technical procedures, troubleshooting guides, and training staff.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in automation or mechanical technical support.
• Proficiency in programming Rockwell PLC and FactoryTalk HMI/SCADA systems.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting mechanical assembly machines, pneumatics, instrumentation, and electrical drawings.
• Experience programming automated equipment including vision systems, high-speed mechanical assembly lines, and Fanuc robotics.
• Ability to execute test cases and checklists while managing pending point lists.
• Experience working directly with vendors and OEM personnel.
• Strong communication skills for remote collaboration with global robotics teams via Microsoft Teams.

Preferred Skills

• Direct experience with high-speed device assembly, packaging equipment, or parenteral filling and inspection lines.
• Familiarity with Automated Storage Retrieval Systems (ASRS) and Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV).
