Description

You will define and execute test strategies for high-complexity distributed systems, covering functional, regression, UI, and performance testing across front-end, backend, and database layers.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement test automation projects, ensuring build acceptance and stakeholder sign-off within agreed timeframes.
• Develop and maintain automated test suites using Selenium, Playwright, and Protractor for UI and API endpoints.
• Monitor test plan execution, tracking metrics to drive corrective actions and improve delivery quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and manage releases via Jira.
• Conduct performance testing and validate data streaming applications using SQL and AWS services.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of testing experience with a strong focus on automation for distributed systems.
• Proficiency in TypeScript for backend testing and API automation.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, and Protractor.
• Strong SQL skills for data validation and working with data products/services.
• Experience with AWS services and queueing systems.
• Deep understanding of SDLC, testing life cycles, and release patterns (major/minor).
• Expert-level Git commands and Jira proficiency (JQL, fix versions).
• Ability to define test plans and manage end-to-end functional testing.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Gatling or other performance testing tools.
• Knowledge of Java, Python, or C#.
• Previous experience as a technical lead or in the contact center domain.
