Description

Senior Automation Engineer owning scalable test frameworks and CI/CD integration for web and API services.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable automation frameworks and test solutions using Python and Playwright.
• Build, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web and API testing across multiple layers.
• Drive adoption of automation best practices and improve testing efficiency through rigorous code reviews.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and Jenkins, supporting DevSecOps initiatives.
• Implement mock frameworks and service virtualization strategies for complex data validation and integration testing.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Software Engineering or Test Automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python scripting for automation logic.
• Expertise in Playwright for modern web test automation.
• Solid experience with Selenium, Cypress, Java, Cucumber, or Serenity.
• Proficiency in API testing using Swagger, Postman, SOAP UI, or Rest Assured.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, with Oracle and PL/SQL preferred.
• Deep understanding of the Testing Pyramid (Unit, Integration, Functional, E2E).
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, and Jira.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Oracle Insurance Policy Administration System (OIPA) and AS files.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
