Description

You will design and implement comprehensive automation strategies for UI and API testing within an agile, microservices-based environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build automation frameworks from scratch for both UI and API testing.
• Develop and maintain automated frameworks to support agile development cycles.
• Strategize API automation implementation plans across architecture layers.
• Conduct POCs on new automation tools to determine the best fit for the current tech stack.
• Coordinate with client stakeholders and vendors to review technical strategies and reporting.

Required Skills

• 8-10 years of total professional experience.
• 5+ years of core development experience using Java/J2EE technologies.
• 5+ years of automation scripting experience.
• Hands-on experience with UI and API automation using Qmetry and Playwright.
• Experience with Microservices and Angular JS.
• Knowledge of Retail Domain, specifically Merchandising functionality.
• Proficiency with Jira, VersionOne, and SharePoint.
• Familiarity with JSON.
• Experience working within Agile and DevOps methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Jenkins, GitLab, Travis, or Bamboo for continuous integration.
• Ability to write database queries and bash scripts.
• Experience with REST API, OAuth, Charles, and Postman.
