Description

Own the automation of test cases for ESDD-developed CalPERS applications using Tricentis Tosca, refactoring existing suites, and building a CI/CD-integrated framework.

Responsibilities

• Create a minimum of 10 automated test cases per month using Tricentis Tosca, executing them to ensure error-free performance.
• Refactor existing Tosca test cases and test step libraries to reduce complexity and improve regression suite consistency.
• Develop automated test scripts for unattended execution in a CI/CD framework, including environment setup and data preparation.
• Integrate Tosca execution lists with Jenkins and the DevOps toolchain for complete test event reporting.
• Provide knowledge transfer and training to the CalPERS test automation team on Tosca best practices and script authoring.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in test automation and quality assurance.
• Expert-level proficiency in Tricentis Tosca for test case creation and maintenance.
• Strong experience with Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools for integrating automated test executions.
• Practical knowledge of DevOps practices and continuous integration workflows.
• Proficiency with Jira for ticketing and Microsoft Teams for collaboration.
• Ability to work in pair programming and workshop settings to facilitate knowledge transfer.
• Experience collaborating with developers, solution architects, and database administrators.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with reusable test step libraries and modular automation frameworks.
• Background in writing comprehensive status reports and documentation for technical teams.
