Description

Architect, design, and implement next-generation automation solutions using software engineering best practices. Own the automation framework, grid, and scripts while providing technical guidance for test execution and defect documentation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation artifacts, including the core framework, Selenium Grid, and test scripts.
• Execute automation test suites and document defects with detailed technical analysis.
• Design and implement test scripts using BDD/TDD approaches, Features, and Step-Definitions.
• Set up and maintain Selenium Grid for parallel, cross-platform test execution.
• Develop automation scripts for REST APIs and verify results using SQL queries.

Required Skills

• 7+ years developing automation tests using core Java or Java-based frameworks.
• 5+ years developing automation tests with Cucumber and Gherkin.
• 5+ years automating functional/regression tests with Selenium.
• Experience developing Selenium frameworks using JUnit/TestNG and Maven.
• In-depth knowledge of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Practical experience in software development using Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
• Knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, DB2, Oracle) and SQL.
• Experience testing REST APIs using REST Assured or Java-based libraries.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Scrum and/or Kanban Agile processes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Parasoft for functional and API testing and environment virtualization.
• Experience configuring automated regression suites using Jenkins CI/CD.
• Knowledge of source code versioning with Git and Stash.
