You will design target state architectures and drive application portfolio modernization efforts.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop target state architectures, including cloud inventory compliance and design patterns.
• Lead the Single Family Domain Architecture agenda by setting technology strategy and direction.
• Design architecture patterns and manage roadmaps for capability development.
• Address technical debt and optimize production architecture to improve agility.
• Coach and mentor other architects while collaborating on data, deployment, and functional design specifications.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in application architecture, including Minimum Viable Architecture.
• Strong background in Java development.
• Hands-on expertise with AWS services including EC2, S3, and Lambda.
• Proficiency with AWS Database services, PostgreSQL, RDS, and MongoDB.
• Experience with AWS Data Migration Service and test data management frameworks.
• Practical knowledge of cloud migration and microservices architecture.
• Competency in AWS networking platforms.
• Ability to document current and future state architectures and maintain strategic position papers.
• Experience using JIRA and Confluence.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the Mortgage or FinTech industry.
