Description

You will design, develop, and deploy scalable AWS applications using Python and Java.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Implement solutions using AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, Athena, Glue, S3, and CloudFront.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation, CDK, and Terraform.
• Build reusable, scalable, and cost-efficient components following cloud and serverless best practices.
• Participate in CI/CD pipeline development and support automated deployments.
• Perform routine troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in application development with a focus on AWS cloud solutions.
• Proficiency in Python and Java.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including VPC, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, S3, Athena, DynamoDB, Glue, and ECS/Fargate.
• Experience with Docker and container-based deployments.
• Strong SQL skills, including advanced queries; experience with SQL Server, DB2, or PostgreSQL.
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and collaborate effectively within a technical team.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CloudFormation, CDK, and Terraform.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
