Description

You will build and maintain backend services in a cloud environment, defining data flow strategies to support backoffice applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Implement data normalization and ingestion solutions in AWS using S3, Postgres, Java, Kubernetes, and Unix utilities.
• Define data flow strategies to support backoffice application requirements.
• Explain technical solutions and issues clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain robust backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Apply automated testing practices to ensure code quality and reliability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency with Java and object-oriented development.
• Experience with Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with AWS development services.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Experience with relational databases, specifically Postgres and SQL Server.
• Familiarity with messaging systems like Kafka.
• Proficiency in Unix commands and basic Shell Scripting.
