Description

You will design and implement scalable, secure AWS data storage architectures and lead large-scale data migration initiatives from on-premises environments. This role requires hands-on configuration of core AWS services, Infrastructure as Code implementation, and building CI/CD pipelines to support high-volume data transfers and machine learning workloads.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and manage AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, Route 53, Glue, and SageMaker.
• Lead end-to-end on-premises to AWS data migration, including planning, execution, validation, and cutover for terabytes to petabytes of data.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation or Terraform and configure CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins.
• Configure AWS DataSync for high-volume transfers and manage S3 replication, lifecycle policies, encryption, and access controls.
• Design and deploy machine learning models using AWS SageMaker and Jupyter Notebooks.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of cloud engineering experience, with at least 4+ years of hands-on AWS experience.
• Proficiency in AWS DataSync, Amazon S3 (replication, lifecycle, versioning), and SageMaker.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools: CloudFormation, Terraform, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts (VPN, Direct Connect) and bandwidth optimization.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, specifically Jenkins.
• Solid grasp of IAM, KMS encryption, and AWS security best practices.
• Ability to architect high-availability, fault-tolerant solutions, not just operate them.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Proven track record migrating large-scale datasets (terabytes to petabytes) from on-premises to AWS.
