Description

You will build and operate AWS GovCloud foundations for FedRAMP High and IL5, owning the account provisioning lifecycle and governance automation. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Implement service control policies, landing zone patterns, and cloud governance automation using AWS Organizations and Control Tower.
• Build reusable Infrastructure as Code modules and paved road patterns to support secure, consistent deployments.
• Translate FedRAMP High and IL5 requirements into practical cloud architecture and operating models in partnership with engineering teams.
• Support standardized cloud resource creation, including VPC patterns, prefix lists, IAM patterns, and account-level controls.
• Produce documentation, runbooks, and audit-friendly operational records while participating in production support and incident response.

Required Skills

• 6–10 years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, DevOps, or SRE.
• Strong expertise in AWS multi-account environments, AWS Organizations, and GovCloud.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Experience building automation and tooling with Python, Go, or Ruby.
• Hands-on experience with IAM, IAM Identity Center, EventBridge, Lambda, and SQS.
• Knowledge of Control Tower, Account Factory for Terraform, and cloud governance best practices.
• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
