Description

You will design and build scalable, fault-tolerant backend systems using AWS services and Spring Boot. This role focuses on event-driven architecture, API development, and cloud-native practices.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Spring Boot-based API frameworks with a strong focus on REST APIs and JSON.
• Implement event-driven solutions using Kafka, managing producers, consumers, topics, partitions, and schema validation.
• Develop and optimize AWS infrastructure, including S3, DynamoDB, Lambda, and API Gateway.
• Design scalable backend systems with asynchronous processing and microservices architecture.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native development practices.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency with AWS services: S3, DynamoDB, Lambda, API Gateway.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and building API frameworks.
• Deep understanding of Kafka eventing mechanisms, including event schemas, message flow, and validation.
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and asynchronous processing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native development.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and domain-driven design.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Liberty systems technology design patterns and enterprise integration processes.
• Familiarity with observability tools for logging, monitoring, and tracing.
• Prior experience supporting large-scale platform or tech-enablement initiatives.
