Description

You will design, deploy, and manage secure, scalable AWS data platforms and infrastructure, with a focus on Linux administration, EMR, and identity management.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer complex Linux environments.
• Design and maintain AWS DevOps solutions using EMR, EKS, and Serverless architectures.
• Configure EMR clusters and integrate them with Okta AD Groups for role-based access control.
• Troubleshoot Jupyter notebooks with SparkMagic in EMR and EMR Serverless environments.
• Collaborate with security teams on Centrify and Active Directory configurations.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional Linux system administration experience.
• 5+ years of experience with AWS cloud infrastructure, specifically EMR.
• Proficiency in Terraform and Terragrunt for infrastructure as code.
• Experience with Python or Bash scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Okta, Active Directory (AD) integrations, and identity/access management.
• Knowledge of AWS Lake Formation, Parquet file formats, and IBM DataStage.
• Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure automation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS SageMaker and other AWS data science or analytics tools.
