Description

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure AWS cloud infrastructure
• Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters, including Amazon EKS deployments
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Groovy, GitOps, and ArgoCD
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and Shell scripting
• Implement containerization strategies using Docker and Kubernetes
• Monitor application and infrastructure performance using Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Splunk, and ELK Stack
• Lead incident management, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and production issue resolution
• Improve system reliability, availability, scalability, and operational efficiency
• Configure and maintain AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, Redis, IAM, and VPC networking
• Implement observability and anomaly detection solutions for distributed systems
• Develop runbook automation and operational playbooks for production support
• Collaborate with development, security, and infrastructure teams to support DevSecOps initiatives
• Manage microservices deployments and ensure platform stability across environments
• Support cost optimization initiatives for cloud infrastructure and resource utilization
• Configure auto scaling policies and high-availability solutions
• Ensure compliance with security best practices and infrastructure governance standards

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and architecture
• Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and Amazon EKS
• Proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code methodologies
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Groovy
• Strong scripting skills in Python and Shell scripting
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, and Splunk
• Knowledge of incident management and Site Reliability Engineering practices
• Strong understanding of Linux administration and networking concepts
• Experience working with Helm, GitOps, and ArgoCD
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems
• Experience with AWS networking concepts including IAM and VPC Peering
• Understanding of log analysis, anomaly detection, and operational monitoring

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Kafka, NGINX, and Redis
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and cloud security principles
• Experience developing reusable Terraform modules
• Familiarity with cost optimization strategies in AWS environments
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
