Description

You will design and implement resilient, event-driven architectures using AWS serverless technologies for production systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design event-driven architectures using AWS Lambda and Step Functions to build scalable APIs and asynchronous workflows.
• Implement DynamoDB partitioning strategies to manage real-time data and state at scale.
• Architect multi-region solutions with low RPO and high durability to address current AWS limitations.
• Automate infrastructure deployment using IaC tools like AWS CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
• Mentor fellow engineers on cloud architecture and resilience engineering patterns.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years building production systems on AWS.
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, Step Functions, and DynamoDB.
• Expertise in designing low RTO/RPO systems and multi-region architectures.
• Experience with real-time event-driven systems using SQS, SNS, EventBridge, or Kafka (MSK).
• Proficiency in backend languages such as Java, Python, Node.js, or Go.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
• Strong understanding of distributed system design, idempotency, and failure recovery.
• Ability to lead architecture discussions with stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Java, Python, Node.js, or Go in large-scale distributed environments.
• Background in mentoring engineering teams on resilience patterns.
