Description

Build and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS serverless/containerized infrastructure.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful APIs using TypeScript and Node.js.
• Architect backend services on AWS using Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, DynamoDB, and S3.
• Develop serverless applications and infrastructure-as-code using CDK, Serverless Framework, or Terraform.
• Deploy containerized applications via Docker on ECS or EKS.
• Monitor production systems and troubleshoot issues using CloudWatch and X-Ray.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Deep knowledge of AWS services: Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, DynamoDB, S3.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (CDK, Terraform, or Serverless Framework).
• Proficiency in Docker and container orchestration on AWS (ECS/EKS).
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design, versioning, and authentication.
• Experience with automated testing and leveraging TypeScript type safety.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proven track record of production troubleshooting and system reliability.
