Description

You will design and secure multi-account AWS environments for mission-critical applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement highly available AWS infrastructure using Control Tower and Landing Zone architectures.
• Manage AWS systems administration including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, CloudFront, Route 53, and ELB/ALB.
• Execute security operations using IAM, SSO, GuardDuty, Detective, and CloudTrail.
• Perform root cause analysis for outages and execute continual service improvements through performance tuning.
• Develop CloudFormation templates (JSON/YAML) and technical documentation including SOPs and system requirements.

Required Skills

• 8-12 years of total IT experience with 5+ years in Information Security.
• 3+ years of hands-on AWS Security experience and fluency with AWS APIs and CLI tools.
• Strong proficiency in Linux and AWS networking, including Security Groups and VPC management.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools including GitLab, Jenkins, and Ansible.
• Scripting experience using Python or Javascript.
• Knowledge of security technologies such as SIEM, Firewall/NGFW, EDR/DLP, and UEBA.
• Experience monitoring systems for alerts and managing incident response on cloud environments.
• Working knowledge of RDS databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MySQL.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• CISSP, SANS GCIH, or AWS certifications.
• Experience with Logz.io or Palo Alto Prisma.
• Proficiency with Jira, ServiceNow, or Microsoft Project.
