Description

You will administer, configure, and manage Azure API Management (APIM) services, owning the lifecycle of API policies, security, and monitoring.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Azure APIM services, including setup, configuration, and updates.
• Design and implement API policies, security protocols, and monitoring solutions.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate APIs and ensure seamless functionality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to API performance, security, and availability.
• Optimize API configurations based on usage metrics and performance data.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience administering and managing Azure API Management (APIM) services.
• Proficiency in Azure services, including Azure DevOps, Azure Functions, and Azure Logic Apps.
• Strong understanding of API design, development, and management principles.
• Experience with API security protocols such as OAuth, JWT, and API keys.
• Experience working with Java Spring Boot.
• Familiarity with API documentation tools like Swagger and OpenAPI.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Azure certifications such as Azure Developer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
