Description

You will manage the administration, configuration, and maintenance of Azure API Management (APIM) services.

Responsibilities

• Administer Azure APIM services, including initial setup, configuration, and ongoing maintenance.
• Design and implement API policies, security measures, and monitoring solutions.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate APIs and ensure seamless functionality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to API performance, security, and availability.
• Monitor usage metrics and optimize configurations to improve efficiency.
• Provide technical guidance to junior team members and stakeholders.

Required Skills

• Minimum of 5 years of experience administering and managing Azure API Management (APIM) services.
• Strong understanding of API design, development, and management principles.
• Proficiency in Azure services, specifically Azure DevOps, Azure Functions, and Azure Logic Apps.
• Experience implementing API security protocols including OAuth, JWT, and API keys.
• Hands-on experience working with Java Spring Boot.
• Knowledge of RESTful API design and best practices.
• Familiarity with API documentation tools such as Swagger and OpenAPI.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Azure certifications such as Azure Developer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with AWS or Google Cloud platforms.
