Description

You will own the Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) platform, including cluster lifecycle, node pools, and autoscaling.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage AKS clusters, handling upgrades, backups, and lifecycle operations.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, implementing GitOps with Argo CD or Flux.
• Configure Azure Application Gateway with WAF and integrate AGIC for L7 routing and SSL/TLS termination.
• Develop and maintain Terraform modules for AKS, networking, and Azure resources.
• Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and mentor teams on Kubernetes and Terraform best practices.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in cloud engineering or DevOps.
• Deep expertise with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) management and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong experience with Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of Helm charts, container standards, and release strategies (canary/blue-green).
• Ability to enforce platform standards for namespaces, resource quotas, and security.
• Experience with Azure Application Gateway and Web Application Firewall (WAF).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Argo CD or Flux for GitOps implementations.
• Strong background in L3 support and performance bottleneck resolution.
