Description

You will design, build, and support Azure Data Services infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, Bicep, or Ansible for consistent data environment provisioning.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for infrastructure deployment, schema operations, and patching automation.
• Provide expert troubleshooting for complex issues across networking, identity, performance, and data platform integration.
• Implement automation for backups, disaster recovery workflows, configuration drift detection, and platform monitoring.
• Support AKS clusters for data microservices, managing scaling, storage, and observability.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience in IT infrastructure, cloud engineering, DevOps, or data platform engineering.
• 6+ years of hands-on Azure engineering experience supporting Azure Data Services.
• Mastery in Terraform, Bicep, or Ansible for scalable IaC frameworks.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for advanced automation and integration scripting.
• Extensive experience with CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and data service lifecycle management.
• In-depth understanding of Azure data services: Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, ADLS, Event Hub, Service Bus, Synapse, Redis Cache, MS Fabric.
• Strong architectural knowledge of enterprise cloud networking (VNETs, NSGs, private endpoints, hybrid connectivity).
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes/AKS, Helm, and operators for data-related microservices.
• Expertise with Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, and building monitoring dashboards.

Preferred Skills

• Solid understanding of cloud security and compliance frameworks (CIS, NIST, ISO 27001).
• Proven experience implementing identity controls using Azure AD, RBAC, and Managed Identities.
