Description

You lead end-to-end Azure migration projects from assessment through optimization.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cloud readiness assessments and develop migration roadmaps for IaaS, PaaS, and hybrid workloads.
• Design secure, scalable, and cost-optimized Azure landing zones using CAF and WAF principles.
• Define migration approaches (rehost, refactor, replatform, rebuild) in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Configure Azure networking, identity, governance, and security controls to support migration objectives.
• Develop disaster recovery and high availability solutions while optimizing post-migration performance and cost.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience in cloud engineering.
• Expert knowledge of Azure services and architecture.
• Deep understanding of the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF).
• Proficiency in applying the Azure Well-Architected Framework (WAF).
• Experience integrating Azure Migrate, Azure Site Recovery (ASR), and Database Migration Service (DMS).
• Ability to document architecture diagrams, runbooks, and operational procedures.

Preferred Skills

• Experience leading large-scale enterprise migration initiatives.
• Strong background in hybrid cloud environments.
