Role Overview:

This role is for a Senior Azure Cloud Ops Engineer who will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable Azure cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure as Code: Design, build, and maintain scalable Azure cloud infrastructure using Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
• Platform Reliability and Operations: Drive automation-first operations to reduce manual effort across provisioning, patching, scaling, and disaster recovery activities.
• Monitoring and Incident Response: Lead L3/L4 troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and incident resolution for complex cloud issues using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Grafana.
• Security and Governance: Implement cloud governance controls, including Azure Policy, Microsoft Entra ID, and role-based access control.
• FinOps and Cost Optimization: Monitor cloud spend, optimize resource sizing, and strengthen financial governance across Azure environments.
• CI/CD Pipeline Management: Build, manage, and continuously improve automated deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.

Required Skills:

• 8+ years of relevant cloud engineering experience, including at least 5 years managing large-scale Azure environments.
• Advanced proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
• Strong understanding of VNets, ExpressRoute, load balancers, and related connectivity patterns.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes/AKS.

Qualifications:

• Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert certification is highly preferred
